This Epiphone 335 DOT Deluxe from 2010 comes with flamed maple veneer on top and back plus gold hardware in the classic Vintage Sunburst finish – and all of that in a really great condition.
No major scratches, no dents, hardly any tarnished hardware, only light signs of play. The back of the neck was sanded and is now silky satin – feels great and plays accordingly relaxed.
We freshly leveled and polished the frets and gave it a full setup. Result: very low, clean action and a round, confident playing feel. The neck has a comfortable medium C profile and sits very well in the hand.
The original Epiphone G-400 humbuckers do a really good job: clear, punchy and very balanced. Clean to crunch feels immediately at home, and even under distortion they stay defined and musical.
Bottom line: a versatile semi that convinces in rock, blues, jazz and beyond – sonically and visually a real gem.
