Up for sale, a 1974 Greco PB-420N in excellent condition and in perfect working order, upgraded with a genuine Fender American Vintage Precision Bass pickup. Made at the Matsumoku factory in Japan, this vintage P-Bass is a unique beast, with a notably slender and easy to navigate 1 9/16" nut width. There's plenty to love about this bass, which colloquially falls under the "lawsuit" umbrella, although no action was ever taken against Greco for their exacting iterations of USA products.
Featuring a lightweight agathis body, maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard, this bass has a resonant natural midrange that translates well through the pickup, offering the bold traditional thump one expects from the P Bass platform. Weighing 9lbs, this PB-420N has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.
