The Martin F-65 was a short lived venture by Martin to take advantage of the booming electric guitar market of the early 60s. Being produced only from 1961 to 1965, there are very few of these still kicking around. This guitar features pickups made by DeArmond, a maple body, Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard and includes the original hardshell case. It should be noted that we still have the original bridge on this piece, which is very hard to come by on these models.
While it plays and sounds great, there is some light scratching on the back of the body, and a bit of fretwear especially as you move closer to the nut.
All in all it is a great guitar for players and collecters alike.
