Personal Thoughts:
The McCarty 594 Hollowbody II is one of PRS’ most refined and musical designs — blending vintage-inspired feel with a beautifully open, airy response thanks to its fully hollow construction. The shorter 24.594" scale gives a relaxed, elastic feel under the fingers, while the Pattern Vintage neck profile fills the hand in a very natural, comfortable way.
The Faded Purple finish is understated yet elegant, pairing perfectly with the rosewood fingerboard for a timeless, high-end look. It’s a colour that feels classic rather than flashy — very much in keeping with the McCarty ethos.
Tonally, this guitar excels at warmth and clarity. The 58/15 LT pickups are a perfect match here, offering woody lows, sweet highs and excellent note separation. Clean tones are rich and resonant, while driven sounds retain definition without ever becoming congested — ideal for blues, jazz, roots, and expressive lead work.
Condition Report:
Mint condition. Imported from an overseas supplier and presented in unplayed condition. No marks, wear or issues to note. Frets, hardware and electronics are factory fresh. Supplied with original PRS hardshell case.
