PRS Eddie's Guitars Wood Library Studio Quilt Top/Brazilian FB - McCarty Tobacco Sunburst

The PRS Eddie’s Guitars Wood Library Studio Quilt Top/Brazilian FB in McCarty Tobacco Sunburst is a showcase of tone, craftsmanship, and refined aesthetics, built for players who demand versatility and elegance in a single instrument. As part of the exclusive Wood Library series, this guitar features a carefully selected quilt maple ten top, finished in the rich McCarty Tobacco Sunburst that highlights the natural depth and figure of the maple with warmth and visual sophistication. Complementing the top, the mahogany back delivers a resonant low end, balanced mids, and clear, singing highs, providing a tonal foundation that is both expressive and harmonically rich.

The figured maple neck, stained to enhance its natural beauty, is carved in PRS’s Pattern profile for a comfortable, well-balanced grip. With a 25" scale length, 22 frets, and a 10" radius, the neck offers smooth playability and precise control across all registers. The Brazilian rosewood fretboard adds luxurious feel and tonal clarity, featuring PRS J-Bird inlays with sparkle abalone outlines and green standard abalone centers for a refined and elegant visual statement. With a neck depth of 7/8" at the 1/2 fret and 61/64" at the 12 1/2 fret, along with a nut width of 1 11/16" expanding to 2 1/4" at the body, this instrument is comfortable for both intricate chord work and fast, expressive lead playing.

The Studio model’s electronics provide remarkable versatility. A McCarty III humbucker in the treble position delivers warm, vintage-inspired tones, while PRS Narrowfield pickups in the middle and bass positions provide clarity, punch, and articulate single-coil-style definition. The controls include a volume knob, a push/pull tone control, and a 5-way blade pickup switch, allowing players to access a broad spectrum of tones—from creamy, singing leads to bright, shimmering cleans—without compromise.

PRS Gen III patented tremolo bridge ensures smooth, precise vibrato action, while PRS Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons provide reliable tuning stability, even under heavy performance conditions. Smoked black hardware complements the McCarty Tobacco Sunburst finish, creating a striking visual balance between modern sophistication and classic elegance.

Housed in a premium black paisley hard case, the PRS Eddie’s Guitars Wood Library Studio Quilt Top/Brazilian FB in McCarty Tobacco Sunburst is a true collector-level instrument. With exceptional tone, luxurious playability, and eye-catching aesthetics, it is built for discerning players who seek a guitar that inspires creativity and delivers unparalleled performance in any setting.
