This 2005 Fender Japan TL-72 1972 Telecaster Reissue in Ocean Turquoise Metallic replicates the look and feel of Fender’s early-’70s Telecasters while using Japanese-era construction and quality control. The body is traditionally single-cut with a gloss finish in Ocean Turquoise Metallic, and the neck is a maple with a rosewood fingerboard—period-accurate feel and slightly chunkier shoulders than modern C shapes.

Hardware follows the 1972 spec: a vintage-style 3-saddle ashtray bridge, string-through-body design, and chrome-plated control plate with master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector.
