Serial # is SQ34887
Up for sale is a rare early-’80s Japanese-made Squier Bullet Stratocaster (serial begins “SQ”, so 1983). All original — body, neck, pickups, hardware — nothing’s been modified. I’ve recently cleaned and set it up, installed a fresh set of D’Addario strings, and it plays and sounds great.
Condition / Playability:
- Neck is straight, frets in good shape, no buzzing, smooth playability.
- Electronics/circuit are original and fully functional.
- Body and neck remain all-stock — no after-market swaps.
- Cosmetic condition: players condition, has some scratches, and some dings but it is in perfect working and structural condition.
Why this one’s worth a look:
Early MIJ Squier guitars like this Bullet — especially 1982–84 “SQ” series — are collecting serious interest lately among players and collectors alike.
