Up for sale is this vintage 1968 Gretsch Streamliner hollowbody electric guitar husk project. This instrument is offered "AS IS" and will require parts and work to be playable, so please be sure to read the entire description and see all of the photos.

This listing includes the body and neck, the original model plaque on the headstock, the original nut, the original pickguard (cracked and poorly repaired, pictured), and the original pickup surrounds (cracked in multiple places but they lay flat).

The original finish shows wear, especially in the belt-buckle region on the back (pictured) but, other than that, is pretty clean. The binding, as is typical on Gretsch instruments from this era, is rotting and gassing and we have tried to capture photos of the worst areas. The original frets are in decent condition but do show wear and tarnishing from the off-gassing binding. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.

A nice, modern Gretsch hardshell case is included and the instrument will be well-packed inside and out to ensure safe shipping.
