Genuine vintage 1975 Fender Jazz Bass. Brilliant factory Sunburst, with an all maple neck with pearl block inlays. Included is it's factory hard case. The bass is very light for the era, at 9 lbs., 1.1 ounces with chrome covers removed. The bass sounds and plays excellent. No dead notes. No heel rise or other player issues. Truss rod fully functional. Tuning machines the cooler long stem model. None are bent and work perfectly. The bass is quiet, and the grey bobbin original pickups
sound fabulous.
Only non original parts I can see is that the pots have been pro replaced with an orange drop capacitor. The bass shows checking, nicks, dings, players wear. There are no extra holes or mods. Pickguard lays flat. Looks great. Chrome covers have some patina and rust. Serial number 401621. The case is clean and shows minor wear. All latches, hinges, handle, gliders, all present and intact, functional. Other than what was noted, this bass is 100% original down to the last screw.
