The expressive possibilities of your backbeat have just been blasted wide open! Enter TAMA’s S.L.P. Mod Bubinga snare drum: a modified take on traditionally narrow shells, featuring daring new dimensions that make it the perfect analog complement for genres like hip-hop, trap, electronica, and more. Each S.L.P. Mod Bubinga snare measures 7 inches deep by 12 inches wide, resulting in a tall and slender drum with a distinct voice all its own. Its 6mm, 9-ply construction is entirely bubinga throughout, creating a full-bodied sound that’s lower, richer, and more resonant than drummers here at Sweetwater have heard before from a “compact” model. This snare’s incredible attack is enhanced by a crowning of TAMA’s Sound Arc hoops and handsome MSL-SCT lugs, while an MLS30A strainer system effortlessly commands its snap. Topped with Evans G1 heads, the S.L.P. Mod Bubinga is teeming with tonal potential for transforming the vibe of every groove!
