We are selling this magnificent console that has been with us for the last five years at Pieuvre Studio in Brussels.

Its nickname, ‘baby neve,’ is well deserved. It sounds incredible, with a rich tone thanks to the transformers found throughout (microphone input, line, master bus, etc.). The EQs looks like to the Siemens W295B but with two bass frequency selections. A pleasure to use, it always sounds great, even when you push it to the limit.

The faders are reversed to meet the specifications requested by the BBC at the time!

There are four compressors inside, usable in mono or stereo, which can be easily patched anywhere. A bit like DBX 160-style VCA compressors. Very cool.

The summing in mixing is magnificent. You can easily crunch the console channels and push the master bus to get a thick, crunchy sound. Magnificent.

Its size is perfect, not too big, it fits into a modest control room while offering 24 mic preamps! It consumes very little energy, no problem turning it on and off every day.

Its power supply was completely redone by the previous owner (his technician) in Liverpool. This new power supply gives the console more headroom.

The console was recapped five years ago by the same technician, and then Yann LU worked on the first four channels, which were spitting a little, a few months ago.

We have recorded dozens of albums and done hundreds of sessions with it over the last five years, always with pleasure.
