This Martin D-16E Rosewood Acoustic-Electric Guitar in Natural is brand new, comes with its original gig bag, and the full manufacturer's warranty. Made with a Sitka Spruce top and East Indian Rosewood back and sides, this Martin harkens back to the loved and cherished D-18. With a similar tonal profile, this Martin sounds fantastic and timeless!

Sitka Spruce is the most often used soundboard on acoustic guitars. Thankfully, this wood is extremely abundant because it is absolutely awesome at projecting the tones of acoustic instruments. East Indian Rosewood provides a warm, rich tone that is both full and bright. The combo of Spruce and Rosewood is timeless and found on some of the world's most sought-after acoustic guitars.

A neck made from select hardwood material (most likely Sapele, a slightly harder Mahogany style wood, perfect as a neck material). The High-Performance Neck Taper on Martin's Modified Low Oval-shaped neck makes for an easy playing experience. The hours add up when a guitar plays this well!. 1.75" nut width,  Bone Nut Material, and 25.4" scale length round out the important numerical neck nuances.

The Martin D-16e is loaded with the Fishman VT Matrix Enhance Pickup. This is a great-sounding pickup that has small wheels for controlling your tone and volume in the bass side of the soundhole. At home practice, rehearsal, the studio, the stage, there isn't a venue this guitar isn't ready to perform at!
