EXTREMELY RARE DIMEBAG DARELL'S BEAST from the legendary Pantera - Cowboys From Hell era and later The Great Southern Trendkill record!!! Dimebag used it both live and in studio. This amp is his famous chainsaw as he used to say. It has that crunchy as hell, middle scoop sound that established his whole career throughout the years as one of the best guitarists of all time, but unfortunately it has to go and I hope to a good hands. A must have amp for any Dimebag fan!!!

Dimebag Darrell, George Lynch signature series Randall RG-100ES solid state amp head is a 150W 2-channel solid-state amplifier. It has an input for each channel, a master volume and gain knob for each input, as well as controls for built-in reverb, and the standard settings such as presence, bass, middle, and treble with a serial number 221035. Original Footswitch included.

Very rare and awesome tiger carpeted finish. Knobs works fine, EU plug. For other US plug options please see photos. Both channels works perfectly. Well-known amp for his signature crunchy, fat, middle scoop tone, but to put a few of Dimebag's own words here will describe it probably much better:

"I ended up using the old, carpeted Randall RG-100 head I recorded Cowboys From Hell with (on The Great Southern Trendkill)." - Dimebag Darrell In a 1992 interview.

Dimebag said that he was looking for something different, something that would be his own, and Randall luckily came along and it was exactly what he wanted.

"I always wanted my own tone, I always did. And I got I wanted a Randall half stack, and that’s where I heard something different. I said, man this is like a chainsaw, man, it’s like, too gritty, I bet I can make it my own one day. And like, a year and a half later, I was using solid Randall. I got a cheap endorsement with him, I got it for like 39% off or something, and then established ourselves as a band and myself as a player, and of course I’m endorsed full key with them now. And they dig me and I love them. I think they’re the best amps." Dimebag Darrell (Pantera) 1992, interview with Dimebag Darrell.

Amp is in really good overall condition and sounds great. No scratchy pots. Very good condition with almost no cosmetic damage - see photos. Actually there's no typical peeling around the edges/joints, which happens to almost all of the Randall amps from this era. Don't forget Dime's gear he also used as mxr 6-band EQ, Furman parametric eq3... Includes power cable and original Footswitch. Packaged very well in multiple layers of bubblewrap, shipped in a proper box, and fully insured. Shipping costs have gone up astronomically in the past year or two! Sorry, I can't control shipping costs, if you want to grumble about the shipping cost call shipping carriers UPS/FedEx. For sale locally as well, so this listing can end at any time, don't snooze!
