Up for sale is this vintage 1960's Hagstrom I electric guitar project. This one will require work to be playable, so please be sure to read the entire description and see all of the photos. This one is offered "AS IS" and "AS FOUND".
It's crusty, dusty, and dirty. Here are all the known issues:
- multiple superficial cracks in the plexiglass body panel and a few slightly more serious, but stable cracks as well (see the input jack).
- badly bowed neck.
- mute switch is not functional.
- one changed tuner gear screw.
- vinyl covering on the back is peeling around the edges.
- missing bridge.
- missing tremolo arm.
- one missing strap button.
All of the electronics, with the exception of the non-functional mute switch, work as they should including both pickups.
This will make a fun project for someone or a great source of parts if you collect or work on a lot of Hagstrom instruments.
No case or gig bag is included, but the instrument will be well-packed to ensure safe shipping.
