Unbelievably Cool and Tone for Days! (Stock #1330)
This guitar is truly one of a kind. As far as I know this is the only guitar Historic Makeovers has ever done with a paint over finish. They finished this one is a factory cherry burst and painted over in black like Joe Bonamassa’s original 1959 Blackburst. The only difference is they aged this one so the cherry burst is peek-a-boo under the black. This was a full makeover including a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard. This guitar started as a 2013 1959 reissue with a great flametop (pictures included below) This one sounds unreal. It has great midrange growl. It is super clear with incredible note definition and rings like a bell unplugged. The neck is a perfect medium C with perfect playability. This one has been ungraded with True Historic plastic, upgraded wire harness, and OX4 pickups. This guitar is in excellent condition.
