The Sheriff 25 is a 25 watt 1x12 combo that delivers maximum tone with minimum fuss. It features two channels of classic British tube rock tones, from classic 60s rock and blues to heavy 70s and 80s rock.
The Vintage channel is designed for low gain 60s British blues and rock, while the Hot Rod channel is where the heavy high gain tones are. Both channels have independently switchable master controls, so the Sheriff 25 combo is made for the studio, home and of course the stage!
Two Channels
The Vintage channel is a low gain 60s British rock and blues sound and is suitable for dynamic playing. The Hot Rod channel is for heavier 70s and 80s tones and has plenty of gain.
Master Volume Design
There are two master volume controls, one for each channel and they are footswitchable. The Master Volume Assign switch allows the volume controls to be set globally across channels or to their original vintage/hot rod channel.
Bass Tune Switch
This is much more than a bass EQ. It works in the power section of the amp, providing either a tighter, more focused bass or a looser, more resonant bass depending on your needs and tastes.
Presence Switch
Located on the back, this switch changes the brightness of the presence control, depressed and the sound will be slightly brighter as it reduces negative feedback in the higher frequencies.
Serial Effects Loop
A serial effects loop is available for the effects fans. It is completely off when bypassed.
Simple and Powerful EQ
Lots of tone-sculpting potential, plus a presence control that works in the power section to dial in the overall bite just the way you want it.
External Bias Points
No need to mess around inside when changing output tubes. The Sheriff 25 will be fitted with EL86s as standard but can be biased to use EL84s as well.
Celestion G-12H Anniversary
Noted for its contribution to classic rock of the 60s and 70s, the Celestion G-12H has plenty of low end tension, high end clarity, punch and aggression. It is used in our Sheriff 212 cabinet, so it was the perfect choice for the Sheriff 25 combo.
