SL-OD Deluxe – Designed by Steve Lukather & Uli Rodenberg

The SL-OD Deluxe is the official Steve Lukather Signature Overdrive, developed over several years in close collaboration with Steve Lukather and German pedal designer Uli Rodenberg.

Rather than recreating the sound of a single amplifier, the SL-OD Deluxe was designed to deliver the dynamics, touch sensitivity and harmonic richness of a world-class tube amplifier while offering maximum flexibility for professional musicians.

Every circuit has been carefully voiced to preserve the natural character of your guitar and amplifier, responding directly to your playing style, from subtle, transparent overdrive to rich harmonic lead tones.

Steve Lukather about the SL-OD Deluxe

“Just wanted you to know how much I LOVE the box you sent me. Hard to describe it… it just makes it sound BETTER. Smooths out the amp distortion in the most positive way without noise or strange coloring. I use it every night and it is proudly placed on my pedal board. I am deeply honored! Thanks SO much, man! Happy to endorse your excellent gear.”
Steve Lukather

Three Independent Boutique Effects in One Professional Unit

The SL-OD Deluxe combines three completely independent effects within a single compact enclosure:
Low / High Gain Overdrive
A highly dynamic overdrive offering exceptional clarity, natural compression and outstanding note definition. Perfect for edge-of-breakup sounds, blues and classic rock.

Distortion
A powerful second channel delivering increased sustain, rich harmonics and articulate lead tones while maintaining excellent string separation.

Clean Boost
A transparent clean boost with up to +20 dB of gain, ideal for solos or pushing the front end of your amplifier without altering its natural character.

Premium Construction

Like every Rodenberg pedal, the SL-OD Deluxe is entirely hand-assembled in Germany using carefully selected premium components.

The rugged powder-coated aluminum enclosure, high-quality switches and professional-grade hardware are built to withstand years of studio and touring use.

This is not a mass-produced effects pedal, it is a boutique instrument designed for musicians who demand uncompromising tone, reliability and craftsmanship.
