The Sabian Stratus cymbal set features a B20 bronze composition, specifically designed for the modern drummer seeking a clear, precise performance. Through an extensive hammering process, these cymbals deliver a professional-grade sound that is both warm and crisp, making them suitable for any musical genre. The set includes a pair of 14" hi-hats with a medium-light top and medium-heavy bottom, allowing for both a light and airy sound when open, and a defined percussive quality when closed. Additionally, the 16" and 18" crashes offer energetic voices that provide a statement without lingering for too long. Completing the set is the 20-inch ride cymbal, which offers a warm and tonally-rich wash with a cutting bell, delivering a solid foundation for any performance at any dynamic level.
