Item Description:

This listing is for a DW Collectors Series Santa Monica Drum Shell Pack. There are 6 drums included in the sale. These are a Butterscotch Finish, and have a Heavy Figured Maple Outer Ply (see pictures). The sizes are 10,12,14,16, 22 with a 14” snare. The drums are Basically in Very Good to Excellent used condition. There are a few minor details, to be aware of. There is a small nick on the bottom of the bass drum, a small nick on the 14” Floor tom, and some minor rash on the finish of the 14” floor tom. The main “issue” is, the front bass drum hoop got cracked, and has been professionally repaired. Since it is a natural maple finish, these are readily available from DW if needed. I have seen this on a few sets of this era, although I don't know what caused it. There may be some minor nicks or dings that I am not aware of or may have missed (that’s why it’s better to see them in person). The stands are not included in the sale, and there are more details listed below. Please feel free to ask any questions before buying. Thank you.

22” x16” Bass Drum. Order number. 1211975 note D

The Front Head is a black DW with a Port in it. The back head is a black Remo Powerstroke P3 Ebony with a double bass drum pad on it. There is one small nick on the bottom of the shell. The front bass drum hoop was cracked, and has been professionally repaired.

10” Tom 1211975 note E. The heads are Remo Black Ebony Emperors on Top and Bottom- Excellent, no issues (couple of dings on the bottom head).

12” Tom 1211975 note B . The heads are Remo Black Ebony Emperor on the Top and Black Ebony Ambassador on the Bottom- Excellent, no issues w the drum.

14” Floor Tom 1211975 note E . The heads are Remo Black Ebony Emperors on Top and Bottom . There’s a little bit of tom rash near the Collectors Badge, and a nick near the Santa Monica Badge and lower lug near it to the left.

16” Floor Tom 211975 note F# . The heads are Remo Black Ebony Ambassador on the top and an Emperor Suede Ebony on the Bottom. The drum is in excellent condition. There are no issues with the drum. There are a couple of very small nicks on the bottom hoop. The Emperor Suede will sound better on the top, but it’s a matte finish, and didn’t look right with the pictures.

14” Snare is in Overall Excellent Condition, with no working issues. The Order Number is 1211975, and the Timbre Note is G#. The top head is a Remo Powerstroke 77 Coated, in “Good” used condition. The bottom head is the Original DW Clear Remo head, also in good condition. You may want to change the heads, as per your personal preference. The snare wires are not the original DW, but are a wide set of Puresound snare wires. The outer two or three strands of each side are a little loose/bent. These are wide snares, and give a very “Snarey”, sound, so you may want to change them as per your personal preference.
