vintage used Yamaha DX7 Synthesizer. AS IS - This synth is functional but losing presets when powered off - Comes with Hypersynth Hcard-701 MkII Preset Memory Cartridge for Yamaha DX7 (value $199) which holds over 300 factory preset sounds - 24 banks x 16 sounds per bank - and also has hundreds of empty banks for User Presets.
The volume is intermittent-Randomly goes from loud (normal) to quiet (but audible) - The volume slider is scratchy, this may be the cause of the intermittent volume, but we do not know for sure.

Changed battery. Cleaned. Changed out D4 diode. Reloaded factory presets. Still losing
presets internal presets 1-16 after unit is turned off. RAM IC chip responsible for this no longer available.
But all internal sounds (plus hundreds more) are available via MIDI or on upgraded ROM card.
Tested #4 preset card included with unit-working good.
