I hardly played the guitar. And my fingerstyle playing does not involve much bending of the strings. So, fret wear is very minimal. There are some light scratches on the pickguard from strumming.

The guitar was bought brand new from Chicago Music Exchange by the first owner. I bought the guitar form the first owner. And while the guitar is a 2016 '63 reissue, it was purchased by the first owner last December 17, 2017. And I purchased it from the first owner last February 16, 2018.

 Major Specifications:

Although the ES-335 kicked off with the "dot neck" in 1958, many players have always preferred the "block neck" version of the early '60s. The beautifully re-created 1963 ES-335TD includes the correct body shape with narrower horns and rolled fingerboard binding for a soft playing feel.

Accurate '63 body shape

By the mid '60s the ES-335 body shape had evolved to take on more elegant cutaways with slim horns

Block inlays

Pearl fingerboard blocks are a hallmark of the second-gen ES-335 design

Matched potentiometers

Matched 550K potentiometers contribute to accurate vintage tone

Historic construction

The neck is attached with hot hide glue, as are the quarter-sawn Adirondack spruce top braces

Historic truss rod

Our historic truss rod has no tube, a proven known to enhance the guitar's resonance and sustain

MHS pickups

These accurate PAF clones use Alnico magnets and mismatched coils for that characteristic complexity and bite

Period-correct frets

Using fret wire of precise vintage specs delivers an accurate '63 playing feel

VOS finish

Nitrocellulose lacquer given our propietary VOS treatment spotlights this guitar's accurate Historic colors
