This is the rarest of them all. Original 1968 UREI branded la-2a revision 2c. Less than 50 made had the UREI branding and this unit is all original except for the T4b which is a universal audio model T4b. The original T4b is included, though it needs to be rebuilt. (They are ticking time bombs. It’s serial #1803 and only serial up to #1800 is documented. I suspect this was a custom build. This unit was purchased and owned by Globe Studios in nashville Tn and used exclusively up to 1975 before the tracking room burned down. This was the main vocal compressor at the time and The last session in that studio was Elvis Presley. (Says the man who I purchased this from years ago.
There are some labels on the back as some of the silk screening has faded over the years. I do not want to part with this. I’m selling to fund a neve console and sadly this is top valuable. Please check the insides. It’s all straight from factory 1968. (Per my tech)
