One of the rarest of the Leslie's out there! The earliest iteration of the modern leslie.

In fact, the date on this is a guess, but with later serial numbers turning up in 1949, this has to be one of the earliest with a pot code from 1947, and an unseen fragile paper label with the model 21h amp, where all other versions have a metal tag label.

The TWG database now has this one added as of today ad the earliest example of this classic leslie. And it's a real beauty. The original finish was a bit dull so I added a little oil and pigment and hand rubbed it to its present condition. I rebuilt the amp, returned and calibrated it to full specs. Recapped the crossover with the original capacitor looking like those old small detergent boxes! And reconed the Jensen Concert Series F15LL with a rare OEM jensen voice coil, and a period correct US made cone from Hempopotamus... the bass on this is like none you will hear!

I also equipped it with a Hamptone 2-speed adapter, so basically you have the best sounding Leslie ever made...

This is real looker and rare Leslie deal. And it truly is the best of the best, with repairs and restorations by myself, the owner and most experienced hammond Leslie tech in STL area and midwest. I came across my job and my abilities early as I was really into these units and had a background in footage Electronics already. From there I worked at a certified Hammond repair facility for some years, filling in any missing knowledge from one of the most accomplished techs in the area, when he was forced into retirement, for health reasons. I've since taken on the job of providing organs and repairing the 100s in use at these churches around here, which rock!
