Selmer Treble 'N' Bass 50 MK-II 'Black & Blue' Valve Amplifier Head
Due to an ever increasing collection and ever decreasing space, I've decided to sell my Selmer Treble 'N' Bass 50 MK-II. This is a classic amp from the era which was used by countless British bands. This example is in excellent working condition and very good cosmetic condition considering it's 60 years old. In my ownership I have:
- Adapted the bias circuit to allow for adjustment
- General service including the replacement of several out of spec capacitors
- PAT test
- Tested the valves on my Orange Valve Tester, all are in excellent condition.
- Valves include 2x Mullard ECC83's (both B5H1, I63, matched), Teonex ECC83, 2x Teonex EL34 (close matched pair) and a Brimar GZ34.
This is a great example of a classic amp and features some highly collectible valves.
Collection from near Yate, South Gloucestershire, or UK postage at £30.
(Pictured Marshall cabinet not included)
N.B. I also have a Selmer 2 x 10" cabinet from the era - currently without speakers - available by separate negotiation. Please contact for details.
