Presenting the 1969 Gibson SG Custom in Polaris White, a vintage gem that has gracefully aged, embodying the spirit and sound of a bygone era. This iconic instrument underwent a refinish in the 1980s, enhancing its visual appeal while preserving its vintage essence. Despite the years, this SG Custom continues to offer an exceptional playing experience, a testament to Gibson's enduring craftsmanship.

The heart of this guitar's distinctive sound lies in its original PAT No pickups, renowned for their clarity and depth. While the wiring harness and pots were replaced in 1986 to ensure optimal performance, these updates have only enhanced the guitar's tonal versatility. The tuners, bridge, and tremolo system remain original, adding to the instrument's authenticity; however, it's worth noting that the tremolo bar is missing. In a nod to the legendary Jimi Hendrix, this SG is wired to allow the blending of the middle pickup, offering players the ability to explore a wide range of sonic landscapes. The knobs and truss rod cover have been updated, ensuring the guitar's functionality and aesthetic appeal are maintained. Completing this package is a newer SG hard case, providing robust protection and making this vintage beauty ready for the road or studio.
