This is a 1977 Fender USA Mustang.

It was released in 1964 and was produced until around 1980 as a very popular model.

In Japan, KJ of Dragon Ash, HYDE of L'Arc-en-Ciel, and other famous artists use 70's Mustangs in their live performances, and overseas, Ben Gibbard, frontman of Death Cab for Cutie, an 8-time Grammy Award nominee, is also famous for using one of these instruments. It is also famous for being used by Ben Gibbard, the frontman of Death Cab for Cutie, who has been nominated for 8 Grammy Awards overseas, and is from the same era as the Mustang he uses.

The Mustang is a middle-class guitar, but the biggest attraction of the 70's Mustang is that all Fenders of the time, despite the difference in price, used the same grade of wood, which is the same grade as the higher-end Jazzmaster and Stratocaster guitars.

In my opinion, the electrical system has a vintage mustang sound, with some occasional buzzing when the volume is adjusted, but nothing else of particular concern.
