Gibson EH-150 Lap Steel 1938

We believe this to be a 1938 Gibson lap steel. Serial number stamped on the back is DGE 4436. It’s a little hard to read. But that seems to be what it says. Finish has a lot of checking and scratchers. There’s some paint smudges on the headstock. Someone might have tried a poor repair at some point. Tuners have been placed. They are PING. Knobs have been replaced. There are flat wound strings currently on it. Binding looks pretty good.
