Aphex 106 'Easy Rider' quad compressor VERY good.

You are buying the BOTTOM of the two Aphex 106 units. Works perfectly and comes with *correct* 24V power supply. 

This unit has not contracted the disease known as 'molexia.' 

Molexia is easily cured but you won't have to do that here with this one. Read about it on Gearspace.

Excellent compressor and rumored to be Mark Sandman's favorite.

NOTE: every function of the device works and function is not at all undermined by this note of fine print on Channel 4:

1 ) on Channel 4 the OUTPUT knob has been replaced with an aftermarket knob of the same type, which is drilled through the plastic leaving a slightly raised lump on the tip of the knob. Knob turns as it should and operates properly without issue. I put this knob on there and drilled it poorly. Works PERFECTLY however.

2) on Channel 4 the DRIVE potentiometer makes a1/4 turn instead of a full turn. This does not affect the function of this device, because you are never going to want to drive this thing into distortion, as distortion is that is not the strong suit of this device. You will be sending an incoming signal hot enough to maintain 'character' so the drive knob is barely relevant and needs only minute turning anyway to achieve the desired effect--which you have more than covered by a 1/4 turn. I do not know the reason for the reduced turn on this knob, and it never bothered me mixing rock n' roll with this.

Many issues are minor and fall under user maintenance. These are things that a buyer of vintage/used electronics should be able to maintain.
Tubes often once taken out of the sockets may need to be rearranged to obtain optimal performance in a tube unit.
Often tube sockets may need to be cleaned with deoxit when tubes are reinserted.
Pots can sometimes be scratchy or develop a flat spot from use. Deoxit is your best solution to resolve a minor issue.
Switches sometimes need to be cleaned or adjusted to make better contact.
