This TLM 103 came from the Hit Factory in NYC. It's a odd one as it has the vintage style black badge. When I bought the mic I was told that the Hit Factory painted the badges (to set them apart, possible modding?) but I have no idea is that is true. I have a much later serial number TLM 103 and it sounds not nearly anywhere the way this one does. The microphone has has pretty amazing history none the less, who knows what records were made at the Hit Factory with this mic
