This display must be configured Plug N Play before it ships. The D-70 requires a specific unusual, configuration to mate the display to the mainboard connectors. The configuration charge is included in the listing price. That covers the cost of all the parts and labor to build it.
Building this display is time consuming. Quite a lot of cable fabrication is involved to leave it Plug N Play. As a result. The price is slightly more than normal.
