Gibson SG/Les Paul Custom 1962 - Black with Super (only 20 to 25 made) Rare Ebony Block Tremolo

Wow, 1962 SG/Les Paul Custom with the Super rare ebony Block trem system...... (only 20 to 25 Les Paul Customs were made with this style of Tremolo tail piece)

This is an amazing guitar, original PAF's sound fantastic (middle pickup could be a super Early Pat. sticker as only part of the sticker remains in tact, but that would still be period correct on these guitar as the PAF stickers were going away. Pickup is basically the same) ; wiring in the guitar is new and setup with 3 vol and one tone for the ultimate in versatility(unmolested original wiring assembly included in the case). This guitar was originally White but currently has a fantastic older Nitro refin in Black, in looking for the reason for the refin the only issues you can see in and only in the right lighting is that someone had craved what appears to be their DL number in the back, a moved strap button hole that was poorly filled and small line at the neck heal (may have been a finish crack due to the direction it runs and shows no sign of repair work). The guitar black lights fine and you can't see any of the things listed above under it; you can only see them under lamp light in a dark room. The guitar has a fresh refret with normal size frets in place of the tiny originals.....plays fantastic.
All of that in the spirit of full discloser. The real story is this guitar is a Beautiful and rare tone monster and we are proud to have her in stock and in no hurry to sell her. Like most of the more rare or magical vintage pieces we have in stock , we are content to wait for the right buyer to come along......low ballers and Tire kickers need not waste your time or ours!
