This one is a little gem! Beautiful little 1960’s Harmony uke, made in USA and it’s complete with it‘s super cute original case!
This one is one of the more awesome examples of this model I’ve seen, it’s a really healthy little uke that’s both beautiful sounding and playing. These were made for department stores in the 50’s and 60’s, and you could order them out of the Sears catalog! This one has survived like a champ, it looks fantastic. It’s been kept in it’s case which it miraculously was never separated from.
As an instrument, it totally rules. The neck is straight as an arrow, the action is low and vibrant, intonation is great, every position feels accessible and exciting, and the tone is awesome. The original tuners are in particularly great condition! There was a repaired crack on the back and a bit on the side, but they shouldn’t be giving any more trouble. They’re almost invisible, you can still see them a bit but for the most part it’s healed up great. Original case is in great shape as well. Great uke!
