For sale here today is a wonderfully preserved, 80 year old Martin Handcraft Standard Trumpet produced in Elkhart, Indiana. These trumpets are renowned for their craftsmanship and functionality. Built to serve the young musicians of the budding American jazz movement - an instrument they could grow into during their professional and semi-professional career paths.
This trumpet in particular is a survivor and is in original, playable condition. As you can see the lacquer has seen better days, but the trumpet itself has basically no dings/dents on it whatsoever. Action on the valves is perfect and all the tuning slides are greased and ready to go. The trumpet was also ultrasonically cleaned recently! The trumpet sounds amazing has a tone that is honestly difficult to emulate in modern trumpets. These older Martin trumpets match the quality you would get from modern Bachs, Shires, Yamaha Xenos as far as build quality goes.
In addition to the trumpet, you also receive the original Martin case. These instruments are getting harder and harder to find and this is your chance to a nice one!
