Typical functions are as follows.
Preamp for acoustic guitar
Acoustic simulator for electric guitar
Simulator for typical acoustic guitar models (for both electric and acoustic guitars)
DI out and headphone out
Audio interface
The most iconic would be the simulator for a typical acoustic guitar model.
