*Passive summers/mixers work best when summing signals with similar impedance—for example, guitar + guitar or synth + synth. If you would like to mix various types of sources, such as guitars, stereo phone/computer inputs, synths, etc., we recommend using an active summer or mixer. Active summers can balance mismatched impedance and feature zero crosstalk between channels.
