Vintage Klipsch Heresy // Speakers / Custom Aural Restoration in Orange-Speakers + Stands (+$399)

The Klipsch Heresy needs no introduction, and we've done several really interesting pairs of them. For this set, we converted them to "decorator" style, by shaving the grille bezel, and sent them over to our friends at Farland Classic Cars for a few coats of orange and clear, for a show-stopping mirror finish. We recapped them with high-end audiophile grade capacitors, fitted up a pair of solid 5-way posts, and dropped in a brand new Crites woofer. Talk about stunning. Orange you glad we're not just another HiFi shop?

LINER NOTES

The Klipsch Heresy was originally introduced in ’57 as a center channel speaker to go between two Klipschorns in larger rooms. When Paul Klipsch came up with the idea and the design, people told him he couldn’t do it, that it was acoustic heresy. “The hell I can’t,” he said, “and that’s exactly what I’m going to call it.” The resulting Heresy was a 3-way, acoustic suspension (sealed) design with a horn tweeter, horn midrange, and a 12” accordion surround woofer. The design has remained largely intact ever since.
