In order to communicate with the Bard Quartet Expand, the Bard Quartet needs a new firmware (v1.1). The Bard Quartet with batch number A12 or higher are delivered with this new firmware. The Bard Quartet with firmware 1.0 can be upgraded to 1.1 with a common serial programmer. We propose our own Serial programmer with a detailed user manual in order to lower the risks of wrong connections and therefore potential support issues.
