Gibson Acoustic G-45 Acoustic Guitar - Natural

This No-frills Gibson Acoustic Delivers!

There's a place where simplicity and complexity meet — it's called genius. Here we think the Gibson G-45 is genius and then some. Handmade in the USA, G series acoustic guitars pack all the classic Gibson tone, feel, and playability you would expect from a company long regarded as a world leader in acoustic instruments. And to enhance your sonic interaction with this tasty acoustic, the G-45 comes outfitted with Gibson's Player Port. Located in the upper shoulder of the guitar, the Player Port runs through the inside of the body where all the resonant goodness of an acoustic is produced. The result sends a focused projection of each strum and each note up and into your ears for immediate sonic "feedback"! Here we are blown away by how much the Player Port adds to the overall playing experience of the Gibson G-45 acoustic guitar.

Exceptionally smooth playability

The G-45's neck is made from utile, a mahogany-like wood with superb tonal characteristics. Its advanced-response profile feels at home in your hand whether you're playing chords or single-note leads. And as you traverse the neck, you'll appreciate the smooth feel of its 24.75-inch-scale striped ebony fingerboard. With a neck that plays this smooth, you'll be able to play longer with less fatigue.

Matchless tonewood combination

The G-45 is teeming with gorgeous acoustic tone. Its Sitka spruce top yields a direct, punchy sound with incomparable dynamic range. Play the G-45 as hard as you want — it can take it. By virtue of its walnut back and sides, you'll experience a tone that sounds like a cross between the dark warmth of rosewood and the bright, bell-like ring of maple. The G-45 is a versatile instrument: whether you fingerpick it or strum it, it delivers all the volume and projection you can handle, along with an undeniable sizzle that makes everything you play sound amazing.
