Every musical journey begins with an instrument that encourages you to keep playing, and few guitars have inspired as many players around the world as Yamaha's FG and FS Series. Available at Haggerty's Music, the FS830 carries forward a legacy that began in 1966 when Yamaha introduced the original FG line, proving that exceptional craftsmanship, dependable quality, and inspiring tone didn't have to come with a premium price tag. The compact concert-sized FS body builds upon that heritage by offering a comfortable playing experience while delivering a balanced, articulate voice that suits musicians of every skill level.

Designed with Yamaha's modern acoustic research and decades of refinement, the FS830 pairs a solid spruce top with rosewood back and sides for a lively, dynamic sound rich in clarity, warmth, and harmonic detail. Yamaha's newly developed scalloped bracing enhances low and midrange response while preserving excellent projection and responsiveness, giving this guitar a mature, expressive voice that excels whether you're fingerpicking delicate passages or accompanying vocals with confident strumming. The comfortable nato neck, rosewood fingerboard, and 25" scale length create an inviting playing experience that encourages long practice sessions and rewarding performances alike.

Built with the meticulous attention to detail that has made Yamaha acoustics trusted by generations of musicians, the FS830 is equally suited for home, studio, classroom, or stage use. Finished in an attractive Tobacco Brown Sunburst gloss, this model delivers timeless styling, dependable construction, and inspiring acoustic performance. Available at Haggerty's Music, the Yamaha FS830 offers outstanding value for players seeking a dependable lifelong musical companion.
