Ernie Ball Music Man EVH Van Halen 1993 Autographed Purple Transparent Case Queen

AUTOGRAPHED ERNIE BALL VAN HALEN MUSIC MAN – TRANS PURPLE 1993 (S/N 84566) Originally Owned by Eddie and Gifted to his Golf Pro. This was ED’s guitar. He played it for Rick, and even asked him if he wanted it personalized or not, in case he wanted to sell it some day (as documented).

This ‘As-new’ condition Ernie Ball Music Man Edward Van Halen Guitar – Virtually untouched Figured Birdseye Maple Neck, Incredibly matched Translucent Purple Quilt Top (1993), originally owned briefly by Eddie Van Halen, beautifully signed & autographed in gold paint marker and given to his Golf Professional as a Christmas present (1993).

Guitar has NEVER been taken apart and still has the original strings on it.

The guitar has only ever been briefly played by Eddie as documented in the correspondence and communications that took place at the time of acquisition (2003) from Ed's Golf Professional who Eddie asked whether he wanted it personalized and said better not in case he ever wanted to sell it in the future.

The guitar has spent all of its life (30 years) stored in the original guitar case, except for a period time while being displayed in an enclosed display case for 5 years.

This is a RARE collector’s piece and is in MINT CONDITION, with the slight exception that there is an approximately 1/4 inch mark on the top at the edge that occurred when the guitar was placed on the mounting bracket in the display case. I believe this could be professionally restored if desired. Please refer to the pictures in the listing to get a visual of the guitar and the anomaly area.

A copy of all the documentation in my possession including a picture of Eddie and his golf pro, the correspondence from him related to the acquisition of the guitar, and a copy of correspondence from Ernie Ball confirming the authenticity of the guitar having been originally shipped to Ernie Ball’s Artist Relations Department (before going to Eddie) will be provided with the guitar. OHSC pictured is included.

The Music Man Eddie Van Halen is the most sought after of the various branded Edward Van Halen signature production guitars ever made. Making it even more of a RARITY and highly desirable is it's condition, having been autographed using permanent paint marker by Eddie Van Halen himself. There are only an extremely limited number of these signed EBMM Eddie Van Halen guitars that exist worldwide, and even less that are in pristine ‘as-new’ condition.
