I got the guitar modded like this already. I still have the original tremolo and springs. The backplate is in that blue box with the tremolo. It looks like there's a tremolo no there as well.
I don't have the original Duncans that would have came with this. These pickups are honestly much better anyhow. I was told that the pickups were a Jalen 5150 and Bee. being that it's a smaller boutique brand it's not as obvious how I can verify this, but they certainly look correct if you check out their Reverb/Ebay/Facebook.
It's a great guitar, but has been played. There's a ding in the back that I've pictured, and some small scratches in the bag. The maple fretboard has some mild dirtying which isn't surprising in that the previous owner owns a business doing HVAC repair. I think I may have seen some very minor fret wear, but it wasn't enough to even ask my tech to do a fret polish.
Part of me thinks I'm stupid to consider selling this but the reality that I'm reasonably happy with a well setup Fender or Gotoh trem. Something like this is more complicated than I need. At the same time, it's far better than any Floyd Rose type system I've ever used. It's got fantastic sustain, is easy to intonate, and it's a tad stiffer in a way I find gives you good control. The extra features I think do fix the issues I hear most people complain about with FR type systems. But, like I said, it's a bit more than what I need.
If you're local or have a good history on the gear page or another forum I'm on I'll consider an exchange, otherwise I'm mostly just looking to sell.
