Features:
These adapters use plain hook-up wire and are color-for-color configured for Gibson branded pickups making it a snap to plug-in directly to the electronic control board found on older (2012) plus newer Les Paul and SG Gibson guitars. Wiring the pick-up and adapter together is just a matter of color-for-color matching, soldering and protecting all connections with the supplied heat shrink tubing.

Using these adapters requires some basic understanding on the basics of guitar wiring. When installing your new pickups with the quick-connect adapter, follow these quick steps:

• Match Wire Colors: Connect the pickup wires to the adapter harness by matching them color-for-color.
• Test Before Soldering: To verify everything works, tightly twist the wire connections together by hand. Slide the heat-shrink tubing over each temporary joint, ensuring absolutely no exposed wires touch each other or the cavity shielding. Test the guitar through an amp to confirm your signal and switching.
• Watch Pickup Orientation: Physical orientation is critical. To avoid unwanted out-of-phase issues, ensure the neck and bridge pickups are facing opposite directions (typically, the adjustable screw coils face outward toward the neck and bridge, while the solid slug coils face inward toward each other).
