This is a high quality 24mm full size logarithmic (audio) taper standard potentiometer with a 15mm (1/4 inch diameter round) shaft including the 7mm long thread. This is the correct value and type for hand wired versions of the Marshall JCM800 Pre-amp Volume, Master Volume and Bass controls and is also suitable for use as a volume control in other guitar and valve amplifiers (such as the original range of Fender Champ guitar amplifiers if a separate mains switch is fitted.
