The Ibanez SR600E is a 4 string active bass guitar that features features a super comfortable slim neck married to a modern sleek compact body. It comes loaded with a pair of Nordstrand pickups, and a 3-band EQ system for supreme tonal versatility.

Ibanez basses have long been known for their modern designs and great playability, and that is certainly the case with this SR600E. Its sleek, modern styled ash body is lightweight and super comfortable, whilst its 5-piece jatoba/walnut neck is fast and highly playable. Topping the neck is a rosewood fingerboard set with abalone oval inlay and 24 medium jumbo frets.

Nordstrand have long been one of the market leaders in bass guitar pickups, so Ibanez's choice to load the SR600E with a pair of Nordstrand Big Breaks was a wise one! The soapbar style pickup hosts a meaty split coil able to deliver a full bodied, powerful tone with excellent amounts of articulation and noiseless performance.

The pickups are wired through an Ibanez active 3-band EQ system (bass, middle and treble), with an additional Mid Switch to select 3 mid EQ points (250Hz, 450Hz and 700Hz). There is also a further switch to bypass the EQ section all together.

The rock solid Accu-cast B500 bridge has adjustable saddles for variable string spacing by +/- 1.5mm, answering every bassistâs specific string spacing needs.

The SR600E is another great, modern active bass from Ibanez that is tonally super versatile on tone, looks great and play just like you'd expect an Ibanez to!
