We have here a Gretsch Electromatic Junior Jet II in a Tobacco Finish. And as of Sept. 15th, 2025 It has had a complete new set up with new Stringjoy 10's installed. This beauty is in very good condition and is one rocking player.
All pickups/jacks/knobs work perfectly. It does have some light scratches and dings here and there. Also it has a few battle scars on lower bout by strap lock and by round back plate which is shown in the images. Only visible from the back and the botton so does not effect the playability or the looks of this solid body Electromatic Gretsch
The pickguard is like new as it has no scratches on it at all, just some faded lettering. Also the plastic is still on the trust rod cover. Installed are New Black Dunlop Straploks!
And the Gretsch lies in like New MGMMEG Molded ABS Case.
We just today, September 15, 2025, gave this Special Jet a complete New set-up w/the fretboard cleaned, Lemoned oiled and checked for a freetdress which it did not need. Also installed are a New set of Springjoy Signatures Nickel wounds .010-.048 strings with the trusted adjusted, string height adjustment (action), Nut adjustment, pickup height adjustment w/pickup poles radius set, adjustment to the tremolo and intonation set.
It plays and sounds like a Gretsch should with a fast fretboard. Overall great sounding and feeling guitar w/a nice vintage tone!
Easy player and a sweet guitar. Also these Special Jet's are no longer in Production!
Guitar has no breaks or repairs, it is not stamped used or is a 2nd and not a B- stock or a blem model.
And please realize that the price of shipping reflects the fact that this guitar comes in a case, so therefore it adds to the weight & size of the package.
We at Rocking the Shack like guitars in cases, nice and safe! And are also big fans of strap locks! Pickguards are also nice.
At the Shack we do tune ups and set ups but only when requested by customer. Unless, At times if we feel that a set up would really benefit an instrument then we just do it.
At the Shack we do complete set-ups at customers request!A complete set-up, (a $90.00 -$125.00 value), includes adjustment of the truss rod, string height adjustment (action), Nut adjustment, pickup height adjustment w/pickup poles radius set, adjustment to the tremolo and intonation set. Along with a set-up we do if needed, a fretdress which includes precision leveling, re-crowning, sanding and polishing of the instrument's frets. So please order a set-up if the guitar you are getting has not had one and you know what you want or just need it done. Of course every guitar deserves a new set up with new strings
At Rocking the Shack we keep climate control conditions all year round and the instruments live in a smoke free environment in their cases!
As mentioned before we love cases and strap locks for the safety and protection they offer. Need we say more!
Pick guards are also nice for protection of the body and when matched up right they can really can bring out a hidden beauty in an instrument!
We pride ourselves in offering quality working beautiful instruments for sale. We are great communicators and the best packers and shippers. We ship with Reverb protection through UPS mostly.
We do sell and ship to Canada but cannot list the shipping cost till we know your address and that your serious. Then we can do an estimate of that cost and send you a offer.
We spend the time needed to make sure you are a happy camper/customer. It gives us great joy to know someone is playing and enjoying an instrument we have worked on and owned.
Sometimes it is hard to part with them, they become such good friends.
Please ask questions, know what you are getting. We are happy to help you in anyway!
Thanks so much for your interest

Gretsch Electromatic
Basswood body for light weight
Classic Gretsch humbucker tone
Fast-playing fretboard
Installed New Black Dunlop Straploks
MGMEG Molded ABS Case
Gretsch reinvented their Electromatic line by giving the G5410 Special Jet electric guitar a wonderfully lightweight basswood body. This basswood body isn't just lighter on your shoulder than traditional mahogany, its also lighter on tone, adding crisp treble and extra bite to the Special Jet's sound. But make no mistake, the G5410 Special Jet still gives you that great Gretsch sound!
Classic Gretsch humbucker tone
Gretsch has earned a reputation for producing high-quality pickups, and the G5410 Special Jet packs two humbuckers to give you the warm glow associated with '50s Gretsch guitars. Plug into your favorite tube amplifier and select both pickups to fill the room with organic resonance and smoky tones. But flip to the bridge humbucker and peg the volume knob, and you've got a hot, biting sound at your fingertips.
Fast-playing fretboard
The rosewood fretboard on the G5410 Special Jet sports a 12" radius, perfect for fast fretwork. You'll love how fluidly your fingers navigate this fretboard, which features 22 medium jumbo frets for effortless playability.
