Eugene Howard Parlor Guitar
This guitar was made sometime in the 1890's or early 1900's. Eugene Howard made his guitars in Cincinnati and they were distributed by Wurlitzer. Comparable to Martin Parlor guitars of the time. Spruce top, quartersawn Oak back and sides. Mahogany neck with Rosewood fingerboard and Rosewood pyramid bridge. V neck. Very good condition, especially considering its age. One crack below A string (see pic). The crack appears to be stable. No belly bulge. No warpng. No bridge pulling. Good action. Frets in good shape. This is a playable guitar, not just a collector's item. These old Parlor guitars are canons, putting out surprising volume. Includes relatively new HSC.
