Product description: Color: White Wilkinson WVS 60's Alnico V Single Coil Guitar Pickups for Stratocaster A very accurate replica of a 60s style pickup. Staggered pole pieces with chamfered Alnico V magnets. Chamfering the polepieces focuses the magnetic field giving good highs but still allowing some mids to come through to stop the pickup sounding thin. Middle pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity. Bridge pickup is slightly overwound for better balance.  White colored covers.

This pickup set offers killer early 60s type tone using heavy formvar magnet wire and Alnico V magnets. The magnet spacing is perfect for Fender Strats. The neck offers a super clean tone with the specs at the neck and middle giving a true fat tone with the perfect touch of sparkle and more mid range presence. The bridge is nice and hot at 6.8k yielding a strong dynamic range for the bridge pickup. The hotter / over winding of the bridge pickup yields incredible mid range and a strong tight bottom bass end.
