Epiphone Valve Junior "Low Output" SRV Option JJ Retube(TM) Kit

Stevie liked to play his amps cranked and preferred a little cleaner sound from the front end allowing you to hear more power tube breakup. This kit uses a low noise / low microphonic JJ 5751 for V1 which is in-between an ECC81 and an ECC83S in gain and a premium tested JJ Electronic EL844 for the power section.

This Retube Kit is plug and play with no bias worries. The EL844 is a completely different tube than the stock tube your amp came with. The JJ EL844's are a proprietary tube that JJ Electronic built at the request of Eurotubes.

The dissipation of the JJ EL844 is 25% less than a standard EL84 so using the EL844 will reduce the power a little in your amp.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.

If your amp is the head version and you want all the power and fidelity to get from your amp to your speakers then check out our custom made 10 Gauge speaker cables in our Reverb storefront. These cables are the largest cables made and leave no frequency unheard!

The video below shows both our preamp tube testing and power tube matching procedures here at Eurotubes which are second to none. We may not be the cheapest, but we are arguably the best.
