When it comes to capturing the authentic and dynamic sound of your drums toms and congas nothing surpasses the D2! This microphone accurately reproduces the warmth and impact you seek from percussion instruments while eliminating the muffled and unclear "boom" that can affect recordings. The D2's inherent warmth also makes it an excellent choice for saxophones and other woodwind instruments that demand a faithful and expressive reproduction with significant presence..
