This is the Standard Retube Kit for the Mesa Studio 22. The preamp section uses five ECC83S's with one current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V5. The power tubes are a premium matched pair of the JJ Electronic EL84's.
All our Mesa Retube Kits include power tubes that are hand selected to run perfectly in Mesa amps. We have extensive hands-on experience measuring the fixed bias points in these amps and what grade of tubes will achieve optimal performance.
Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
The video below shows both our preamp tube testing and power tube matching procedures here at Eurotubes which are second to none. We may not be the cheapest, but we are arguably the best.
